Handle With Care

Thinking that a career in photography is a glamorous one? Well, this case study may just make you re-think that somewhat.

Our client Swift Electroplaters wanted to show off their range of plated finishes so they asked us to photograph 36 door handles each with a different coating.

The key to this kind of job is in the attention to detail, making sure that settings were consistent and that each handle was placed in the same position as the last one. (Many thanks to Maddie for assisting in this!)

They also needed a group shot of all 36 together. I’ll be honest with you, I did try this but was not happy with the results so ended up doing composite of all images and putting them together that way!
