Little Lego Masters.
I had the great pleasure last week to photograph a school holiday workshop by Bricks 4 Kidz Inner West .The team at Bricks 4 Kidz created a fun, high quality and educational experience for kids using LEGO.
The brief was to get a series of images that could be used on the company website as well as within their promotional and marketing material. This is the kind of brief that we get a lot at Corporate Imagery (not always involving kids and LEGO!), there are too many companies out there that use generic stock imagery on their website. By having bespoke imagery created it means that businesses can give an accurate depiction of their teams, products, services and offerings. This can also demonstrate a company’s values and culture.
I’ve never bought into the ‘never work with children and animals’ ethos. Personally, both are often a lot easier to deal with than their adult counterparts! Kids are less inclined to fake a smile or emotion so when you get images of them having a great time they are that bit more genuine. The giving of instructions may sometimes be a challenge but the results are definitely worth it.
